Overview
With a longer growth cycle and faster potential growth rate, large breed puppies have a unique physical composition that creates special nutritional needs. The Large Breed Puppy Health Recipe for Dogs is designed to support the unique needs of larger dogs through nutrient-rich whole foods. Most importantly the food offers controlled energy intake for paced growth and precise calcium/phosphorus levels (larger breeds need to be wary of growing too fast too soon because of orthopedic issues).
